Recording

At our production workshop, we teach you everything you need to know about recording. A recording is a lot deeper than you think it is. It is beyond making a recording of a particular vocal session. There are many levels to it.

Recording a song has gotten more complicated because of the invention of new equipment and the desire to achieve perfection in every song. Recording can no longer be carried out in single sessions. Most times, you have to record the various parts of a song separately and put them together later on. Editing

After recording your song, you need to edit it. Unedited songs are surely going to have mistakes and glitches in them. It is at this stage that you work on perfecting every aspect of the song. You need to learn about arranging the parts of the song since recording these days is done in fragments. You also need to learn about comping, noise reduction, time and pitch editing.

Mixing

This is the aspect where you blend the various parts of the song. Since the song is recorded in fragments, you need to learn how to blend it well. Most of the songs we listen to these days are recorded in bits and pieces. However, we don't know this because the songs are well blended.

Mastering

This is the icing on the cake. We teach many mastering techniques that can help you perfect your art.
